Changi (Singapore) Airport Terminal 3
Architect: Skidmore, Owings, Merrill

Production Notes:
The design called for a huge number of panels suspended from 7 layers of wires passing through the roof trusses both above and below the slab. I wrote a maxscript program to semi-randomly generate the 50,000(!) panels according to rules supplied by the architect. This allowed the project to be completed in a reasonable amount of time, and in a manner the computers could handle.

The bright areas in the night shot are due light spilling from the thousands of skylights in the concrete slab roof.
